Meet our Pastor
Rev. Michael J. Pritchett

Pastor Mike was called to serve on Mother's Day, 1990, and has remained faithful to New Hope and it's congregation for thirty-five years. He and his wife, Deborah, reside in Apalachee and have three grown children. 

After recieving a diploma of Christian Ministry at North Central Baptist Bible Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, he attended Southern Baptist Center of Biblical Studies in Jacksonvillle, Florida. It is here where he earned his Associate of Ministry degree and Bachelor of Bible degree.

Rev. Pritchett was ordained into the ministry on July 26, 1987 and became an Associate Pastor at Apalachee Baptist Church in Madison, GA. He served in this position from July 1987 until February 1990. For the months of March through June 1987, he served as interim pastor at Freeman Creek Baptist Church in Bishop, GA. Three years later, he was called to pastor New Hope Baptist Church where he continues to serve today.
